What can I say? I didn’t even know what blogging was until about 10 minutes ago. And here I am an aspiring journalist trying to write about myself – really.. how hard can it be?!
Here it goes...
I’m Jennifer, I’m 23 years old and I live just outside
The first thing you’d notice about me is that I look
But my mum is Indian, she was born and raised in Trinidad, a small
My dad was born and bred in
I don’t want to waffle on too much about my family and friends – they may not be too impressed if they ever read my blog. But I’ll mention them briefly...
I have two brothers Kev and Trev who really are the kindest, sweetest men - you've done well mum and dad! I have a brilliant network of friends - the majority of them I met at school and we have jokes that run back years.
I have an enormous extended family on my mum’s side (she happens to be one of eleven) that live all over the world – mostly in Trinidad but also Canada and Australia.
So this is my first attempt, how did I do? So far I think blogging is weird but wonderful. It’s not as simple as facebook - which might I add is 'sooo last year!'
Blogging is this seasons 'black' - it’s notched up the levels of narcissism and voyeurism. How odd that you can tell more about a person online and in one chunk than you can by talking to them face to face.
What a world we live in now, gone are the dinosaur days of posting letters and using pay phones!!
I am proud that I've finally jumped on the technology train.. I don't have an ipod, have never seen a wii or even have a clue what podcasting is! Maybe I don't give myself enough credit - I thought I'd never get my head around msn messenger or facebook and now I'm possibly classed as an addict!
Maybe next week I'll purchase an iphone......
Bet you have seen wee before... tee hee.
